8 - How my first SoCSIT week went through

My SoCSIT Week Experience

On Tuesday, We had an opening for our SoCSIT week. The Junior Programmers Computer Society opened it with a bang showcasing the finalists of this year's Mr. and Ms. SoCSIT. Facing the school, students line up as they cheer for their apple of the eye. After walking down on the parking lot, the APC Dance Company gave an amazing performance to end the ceremony.

On Wednesday, We had a 30-Second of fame or shame. Every student should partipate the said event.
My friends and I team up together and performed on stage, all eyes on us. We gave a hilarious performance featuring our two group mates (boys) twerk. Obviously, we won the challenge and the judges gave us a Fame card.

On Thursday, Day of the pageant. We had a dry-run of the pageant and an earthquake drill. I went straight home to gather my things and practice my walk for the pageant. At exactly 3 Pm, I came back to school for my hair and makeup. we ended at quarter to 6 just in time for the pageant. It was nerve-racking and so I say to myself: Fake it till you make it. The program went well. each blocks were shouting our names. Nyro was crowned Ms. SoCSIT and Johann Alpapara as Mr. SoCSIT and I was the first runner up partnered with Keano Cruz.

On Friday, We had our Frosh Night. We didn't stay too long since it's about midnight and the traffic is intolerable. I got home at 12.

On Saturday, our friend had a Basketball Championship. we screamed and shout cheering for our friend. It paid off. their team won. After that, We celebrated. And that is how my first SoCSIT week went through.

6 - Shatter me

My touch is power.
Shatter me is a science-fiction book that is all about a girl, named Juliette. She has a power and her touch is lethal. She was exiled by her family and their government because they thought she was a curse and meant for a weapon. She was kept in an asylum for almost a year. The reestablishment planned to use her as a weapon. She was afraid of herself and they were torturing her.

5 - Who am I?

Why am I here?

These are the piercing questions that come to me on my 16th birthday.

And this is what i told myself:

I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I can conquer the world. I am special.

4 - Kryptonite

I love clothes! But who doesn't? Clothing stores have always been a kryptonite of mine. Imagine yourself strolling through the mall and peeking at boutiques with no money. Oh, Sheer travesty!
I was influenced by Blair Waldorf of Gossip Girl says that : whoever says that money can't buy happiness, doesn't know where to shop.

My mom would always take me shopping as a reward. Who doesn't get thrilled walking through isles of H&M? Obviously, not me. I'm ecstatic! My love for clothes are extreme. I am always conscious about how i dressed, afraid to be judged. But still looking on the brighter side, I just want o be happy and contented with myself.
